Stories! Art! Food! What could be better? As co-authors of "Kitchens of Hope"), we are delighted to be collaborating with Mia (Minneapolis Institute of Art) for a panel discussion on immigration and our book "Kitchens of Hope" on Oct. 25 at 1 pm, that combines storytelling, food from immigrant restaurants, and a guided tour of artwork of the countries of several of the contributors to the book, including our panelists. The event is free but requires ticket registration to plan for food and space. See the link on this page.
Rick Nelson and I are delighted to demonstrate a variety of cookies from our "The Ultimate Minnesota Cookie Book" at a culinary class at Farm at the Arb (at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum) -- and just in time for holiday baking. We would love to have you join us!
